Dorian’s Parl or provides a place for those interested in the genre to converse, col laborate, and share theirexperiences – as well as offering an audien ce for local bands, artists, and designers.\nOur October 22nd event fe atures a fashion show from none other than The Baroness – a self-des cribed “LatexEnthusiast” whose elegant, provocative pieces appeare d in the “Born This Way” music video. Alex Reed, of post-punk/elec tronica band Thou Shalt Not, performers a spectacular solo set for Dor ian’s guests. And like an exotic bazaar, Dorian’s Parlor will host vendors and craftspeople eager to vend their wares to the revelrous cr owd. The host for the evening is renowned Steampunkauthor and icon G.D . Falksen. Falksen recently published the fast-paced and adroitly penn ed Blood in the Skies, the first of manyscintillating novels in the He llfire Chronicles series. In addition to a spectacular array of live e ntertainment, the appropriately-named DJ Ghoul will spin song after so ng to keep you dancing long into the night.
