DESCRIPTION:\n\nCalifornia has once again been blessed with another st
 eampunk convention, this time to be held in Emeryville, CA on March 12
 -14 as the \"Nova Albion Steampunk Exhibition.\" This year's event pro
 mises to mix in much more of the DIY/maker flavor for a greater hands-
 on feel.\n\nThe Steampunk Exhibition will include the following attrac
 tions:\n\n* Three days of immersion in a Steampunk world that Might-Ha
 ve-Been!\n\n* A Friday night Steampunk Ball and Girl Genius costume co
 mpetition\n\n* The provocative Museum of Curiosoties and an enormous T
 raders’ Concourse filled with crafts, clothing, books and all manner
  of Steampunk-related delights\n\n* The Exploratory Steam and Kinetics
  Enclosure – a large outdoor yard featuring The Golden Mean Snail Ar
 t Car!\n\n* Saturday night’s Party at the Center of the Earth featur
 ing performances, DJs and dancing until Midnight\n\n* The Card Room â€
 “ A grand Victorian Games Parlour\n\n* Miss Kalandar’s Social club f
 or Adventurers, Intellectuals, and Like Minded Individuals\n\nThey wil
 l be offering three tracks of programming for the 2010 event:\n\n* The
  Academic Track: Presentations From The Royal Pundit Society\n\n* The 
 Panel Track: Salon Discussion & Intellectual Debate Club\n\n* Hands-on
  DIY Track: Maker’s Interactive Workshop & Evil Genius Activity Cent
