DESCRIPTION:Taking the Swing Train '40s Dance\n\nThe giant Rolling Sto
ck Hall at the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania, Strasburg, Lancaster C
ounty, PA, will come alive to the sound of the Bob Troxell Big Band at
the \"Taking the Swing Train '40s Dance\" scheduled for Saturday, Nov
 ember 7, 2009 from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.\n\nThe dance will be held i

canteen, with light refreshments and tunes from the Hit Parade for da
ncing, listening and sing-along pleasure.\"\n\n\"The USO (The United S
ervice Organizations),\" Dunn informs, \"was incorporated when Preside
nt Franklin D. Roosevelt challenged six private organizations-the YMCA
, YWCA, National Catholic Community Service, the National Jewish Welfa
re Board, the Traveler's Aid Association and the Salvation Army-to han
dle the on-leave recreation needs for members of the Armed Forces. The
USO has endured in its commitment to be America's link with her men a
nd women in uniform and is celebrating its 61st anniversary this year.
\"\n\nDress the Part!\n\n\"Guys and gals of all ages are encouraged to
attend the dance at the Railroad Museum in uniform or in '40s clothin
g to help us re-live and revive the past among our world-class collect
ion of trains. Trains and railroads found their way into the music of
the era, as they have throughout their time in American history,\" Dun
 n states. \"For example, the song \"Chattanooga Choo Choo\" spent 13 w
eeks in first place on the Hit Parade in 1941 and \"On the Atchison, T
opeka and the Santa Fe\" was second on the Hit Parade for 14 weeks in
1945.\n\nTickets\n\nAdvance tickets for the 2009 \"Taking the Swing Tr
