Hello everyone. I'm Jonathan Grimm and I first heard of this site at last yearts Steampunk Worlds Fair where I was part of the staff. I must admit I was overly glad to meet others who enjoyed the theme of steampunmk whilst not into the "neo-vic" scene too much. To me the 1910's-1940's just had a certain appeal which has yet to be captured again.
Ive always enjoyed big band and swing moreso than anyone else in my age catagory, kind feel as if I was born 80 years too late but I can't do much about that
Basically if Steampunk is the state where I'm from, Dieselpunk is the street I live on.

Glad to see you around, Mr. Grimm!
Will you be working at next year's SPWF?
That i will be. We have already began the planning meetings. Actually I was thinking of organizing a Dieselpunk meet up or a Dieselpunk party during it. Any ideas or suggestions?

Swing dance, even basic moves, is incredibly hard to teach a large group in less than an hour. The instructors at Swing Goth do show a few steps during their events, but it's usually in one ear and out the other after the music stops.
I'm in touch with Whisper about the World's Fair, so we'll see what comes of it.
Thanks for the kind words. :-)
If you want Swing Goth to make an appearance, let me know and we'll try to work it out.
Best,
Brian

I'm stoked! And welcome home, brother Grimm!
