A few period watches for your enjoyment..
Hi All..
New here, so I thought I;d share a few pieces from my collection (my real passion is collecting and restoring vintage watches, been doing that for a good 12years). Most of these were flea shop finds or given to me by friends, and most were in worse shape than in the pics, needing at least a servicing, and lots of TLC. A few were candidates for a dial refinish.
1950 Hamilton 992b railroad pocket watch - this was one of my work watches during my 35 year stint with Canadian Pacific.
Longines automatic in a 14K case - 1949 (love the dial)
1936 Longines tank in 14K
Late 1940's Bertmar
1938 Wittnauer Tank
1934 Tavannes
1942 Omega:
Saved the best for last - $20.00 thrift shop find.. Still in the safe at my watchmakers, awaiting parts..

Wartime Omega is fantastic, as well as Tavannes tonneau. And last one Deco timepiece is simply stunning.
