Bay Area Maker Faire 2011

The Maker Faire is an annual convention dedicated to DIY inventors and artists of all types. You'll see robots, crazy bicycles, and all kinds of cool science. 

The wife and I will be going this year with the kids, and one of the big attractions for me is that the Maker Faire has a huge steampunk area, filled with all kinds of steampunk vehicles and inventions. 

I'll be wearing the latest version of my dieselpunk outfit, and I'm hoping to finish my raygun rifle by the time the faire comes, which is May 21 & 22.

Maker Faire has three locations yearly, with Detroit and New York as additional places to catch this awesome event.
