Childhood comic collection expected to fetch $2M

I just learned that a comic book collection from the 1930s - 40s were sold for a total of $2,000,000.

Amazing that he didn't know the value of the comics. Ive a small full collection of Batman and Detective Comics from 1966 to 2007.

These will go to my two son's with the information on the comics value also.

I hope in years to come they with pass them on also.

I feel a little sad that a treasured collection will be broken up, but happy that the issues will go to good homes.

*Embarrassing confession* I still have a nearly complete set of UK Marvel Thundercats comics from the 1980s...
