unfortunately the women's line looks like the 70s threw up. sigh......

To me it really does look Victorian or Edwardian. The women's line is horrid though. I don't look at things like this, but I thought the men's and women's lines would at least have similar themes.

Seems more late Victorian or early Edwardian to me than anything Jazz Age, so I'll file most of these in the Steamy category.  A couple have Diesely elements, but my first views scream more to the Steam.

On the women's line, what is the fashion world's continuing damned obsession with 70's clothing such that every five years they try to resurect its styles?  The World of Taste has fought for years to purge that horrid time of belbottoms, wide, ugly ties and lapels, leisure suits, and polyester from living memory.  If the interior design world thought accordingly we'd see avocado green and harvest gold appliances return every half-decade. o_O

yep that's steamy.

On the women's line, as far as I can recall, the world economy was still runnin' on diesel in the '70s. Come to think of it, it still is. But the 70s sure was a bad decade for fashion.
