Dieselpunks

Dieselpunk + Steampunk Culture

Found a fantastic page yesterday: Wrong Side Of The Art.

It features thousands (!!!) of hi-res, mostly "trashy", movie posters. While the greater amount of those is from the 1960s-1980s they also have quite a lot of posters from the eras 1920, 1930, 1940 and feature great dieselpunkish and/or great pulp-styled designs. Besides that dieselpunk aspect the whole stuff is just great entertainement (man, I can't believe what kind of movies have been made *lol*).

And the biggest plus is the men tioned hi-res size which makes printing out the posters fairly easy without any pixeled result. Here's the address and a few (minimized for better view here) exapmles:

Damn - this page is awesome... I spent a lot of time yesterday just brwosing through all the stuff, both being amazed and amused (I mean - have you ever heard of a movie called "Canadian Mounties vs. Atomic Invaders"?, haha)

I loved King of the Rocket Men! It was total scifi trash.

Thanks for sharing these!
Those are so cool. Thanks for sharing these.
I've seen Canadian Mounties vs. Atomic Invaders. It was a 12 part Republic serial. It's a pretty fun to watch, chock full of ways to die, most of them involved ice or snow... for some reason.
