First Official North Texas Dieselpunks Meeting Date
It's finally going to happen! The first official meeting of the North Texas Dieselpunks will take place on November 19th, 2011 from 6 pm to 8 pm. The location will be in the banquet room at Spring Creek Barbeque, 12835 Preston Road at LBJ Freeway, Dallas, TX 75230.

Our first meeting was a small group but we had a great time. We met at a local barbeque restaurant (hey, this is Texas, so what did you expect?) enjoyed each others company and talked Dieselpunk. We've already set our next meeting for December 10th. As the famous Diesel Era classic line went, "This is the start of a beautiful friendship." :)

Thanks, Deven. As one member said, there's something nice about a small group so even if we don't grow that would still be good. Then again, we've had a lot of feedback from people who couldn't attend because of obligations. The main problem is that these two months are the holiday season. We expect to see some growth starting in January.
