Dieselpunks

Dieselpunk + Steampunk Culture

Some years ago Dark Horse Comics ran a series called Ghost. It was about a woman named Elisa Cameron, and her quest for vengeance after she died and turned into a ghost. Besides being able to move through walls and such ghostly things, she also carried with her two pistols, in the style of The Shadow and other pulp heroes. The series took place in a city called Arcadia, which had a general 1930s styling to it. I thought people on here might be interested in the series, if you like some of the old pulp heroes. For some reason though, the comic seemed rather hostile towards men. Half the dialogue seemed to be about how men are beastly creatures who can barely control their baser instincts. Apparently they want to start up the series again here in 2012.

I remember the ads, but I never picked up the book.  Is it worth tracking down?
