Dieselpunks

Dieselpunk + Steampunk Culture

I've been a fan of everything 1920's for a very long time.  I've also been a bit of a Steampunk (books, games, movies, etc.) for a while, but I'm still drawn to the look, feel, and sounds of the Roarin' 20's.  And that's fine with me.  I didn't know about Dieselpunk until a Steampunk friend of mine made the comment about it.  So I looked it up, found myself here!  =)

Welcome, Christopher! Great to have you here.
Glad you found us when you did! All those steamers are taking over the joint!
Yeah, I really like the idea behind Steampunk, but Dieselpunk is more like the way I live, breathe, and think. Too much of my life listening to Bessie Smith and Billie Holiday! =P Plus, the years I spent wearing a trenchcoat and felt fedora!
I, too, am relatively new here. So - "Hello" from one newbie to another.
Sorry that I never gave you the proper welcome, Beauregard. Glad to have you with us also.
