Dieselpunks

Dieselpunk + Steampunk Culture

name's gabe, i'm brazilian, the 1920-50's aesthetic that became so famous in the US didn't really appear around here, so i was always fascinated about the architecture, fashion, music and specially technology and dreams of that style, if you have any problems with my english, i'll write it down in portuguese and you can have it translated by someone, if you're too lazy for that, well, i speak spanish too

Hi PsychoBaka. Your English is actually better than most Americans I see on the internet.

You're always welcome here. Thanks for joining the team!
Welcome, Gabe!
And don't be shy to write here of everything that fascinates you. By the way, you've got a perfect example of Dieselpunk aesthetics in Brazil - the BANESPA building in Sao Paolo.
true, but the style was barely diffused, as we skipped straight from a nearly pre-victorian aesthetic that can be noticed in most of our historic buildings apart from the BANESPA building, to a split between a 1970's style and a quasi-futuristic aesthetic that can be seen in the capital Brasilia
Hey there, glad to have you on board.
