I'm proud to announce that our very own Stefan created the new logo for the International Dieselpunk Day of Nov 12.

Very cool Larry ..bravo.
I would say there's a difference in meaning between International Dieselpunk Day and Dieselpunk International Day.

Permalink Reply by Lawren H.B. on March 20, 2012 at 3:25am As with all awesome logos on this website.
T-shirts?
@ Atterton: DP-Day
Permalink Reply by Komissar Hass on March 20, 2012 at 4:24am I believe we must finalize the order of the words, than procede with an acronym. DPI-day, IDP-day, DPID, IDPD, IDD, DID...

DPI-D sounds a little off to me.
Permalink Reply by Larry on March 20, 2012 at 1:49pm It was conceived by our member Lady Smoke as a Dieselpunk alternative to International Steampunk Day. Hence, the order.
During the proposal stage it was run by this site, the Vancouver Dieselpunks, Sindicato Dieselpunk, Middle Tennessee Dieselpunks, North Texas Dieselpunks and the Dieselpunk SA with no recommendations at all from any on a different order of the name.
The ball is rolling, the web sites have been set up, and the promotions are in progress. So, I think it's safe to say that "International Dieselpunk Day" is the order.
Besides, "Dieselpunk International Day" sounds like we basing it on the Socialist International. Hey, I'm on the Far Left but I don't think everyone would want to join me in it. :)

I like international Dieselpunk Day instead of the socialist loaded Dieselpunk International Day.
Permalink Reply by Larry on March 20, 2012 at 5:56pm See, that's my point. :)

It's nice that I can be part of a community with people who may not share my political ideals (some would say I'm a extreme Libertarian) yet we can share a mutial love of Dieselpunk & the era that inspires it. Larry you remind me of of my uncle, I think he'd fit in this community well. Him , his suits n' fedoras ;).
Permalink Reply by Larry on March 21, 2012 at 7:06pm I'm honored, sir.
