nice - a good article, a cool bloke too....

thanks for sharing.

He's one of us! I can so relate to this guy. That is the definition of a Lifestyler Dieselpunk.

Larry, you and Johnny aught to contact him for the Podcast.  Not only is he of interest to Dieselpunks, but Dieselpunk might be of interest to him!  His contact info is available on his website (link in Hexidecima's post).

One step ahead of ya' Cap'n. Sent the email to him yesterday on both.

Just shows that great minds think alike. :)

#1 - I love this guy's style.  I wonder where he gets the cash to support his time travelling habit.

#2 - Larry, would he really be dieselpunk?  Sounds like he's doing his best to be completely retro.  Don't mean to split hairs, but being dieselpunk means bringing the style into the present, not living in the past as accurately as possible.

I agree he's not Dieselpunk, but a Reinactor (and also wonder how he pulls in that kind of scratch as a musician; my bet is Rumrunning!).  That said, his full-emersion lifestyle is certainly of interest to us and by comparison our lifestyle might interest him.  I call that Synergy! :D

Excellent points Tome and Cap'n. There is indeed a difference. I'm awaiting to hear back from him because I would like to know more details.
