Memorial Day
Here in the US it's Memorial Day when we honor those who serve in the military and gave everything for our freedom.
As a Dieselpunk I can't help but think about the Greatest Generation who sacrificed so much to save the world from the evil of Fascism.

As a veteran myself (USAF 1981-1989), I would like to believe that had I been a young man in the 1930/40s, I would have served with the same valor and distinction as our parents and grandparents did.
