Dieselpunk + Steampunk Culture
Monster Commute's dieselpunk train
I was inspired by the design of this HMS Steamliner for my webcomic, Monster Commute. The Steamliner is, to my eye, a fantastic dieselpunky train if ever there was one.
Here is my own strip for today, with the inspired train:
The one thing that this doesn't yet convey is scale; it is made for CrowBots, which are huge, 25 ft tall mechans. So the Zephernaut is HUGE.
I consider the Monster Commute to be somewhere between steampunk and dieselpunk, but with monsters instead of people. I know, it takes some getting used to.
