Hello to all. I've been looking for this site for a long time, I just didn't know it. I've been writing for longer than I care to admit. I kept wanting to add things without knowing why. Now I know--it was dieselpunk.
I've always loved the Doc Savage books, the Streamline Moderne style, film noir, and the look and feel of the 1930s, including the Depression. Rather than see them as relics of the past, though, I saw them all as inspiration for new interpretations of universal truths.
I look forward to contributing.
Welcome aboard! As a writer you'll want to check out the Writers & Storytellers Group. Download the Dieselpunk ePulp Showcase (FREE!) to see what our members (myself included) are putting out. We're in pre-launch for the second ePulp and actively soliciting writers for it if you're interested.
