North Texas Dieselpunks
With the expansion of this Community Forum let me start out the Regional section with my current attempt to organize local dieselpunks: North Texas Dieselpunks.
My dream is to start getting dieselpunks in the area together. If you're in North Texas area and interested in helping to make this a reality then please stop by the site.

Just wanted to share that even though we're a little bit south of North Texas, the bi-weekly gathering of Steampunks and Dieselpunks in Austin, TX is tomorrow (and we meet every other wednesday).
If there is anyone close enough to stop by, feel free to inquire further as to the details!

That's great Abi! If you ever get a chance to make it up to Dallas we have a bi-weekly meeting of Steampunks who are very accepting of both Dieselpunks and Clockpunks. As well as a several pirates. :)

We had a meeting just last Sunday. Our next meeting will be 7/28 and then Aug 13th. Though we're going to get together to see Cowboys and Aliens probably on 7/31. We plan to go see it in full Steampunk outfits. :)

We don't have a formal membership. You just show up when you want. Our last meeting had about 45 attendants.

We have about twenty-five that are hard core regulars and who never miss a meeting, such as my wife and I. If every single person who attends off and on along with the regulars met at one time I bet we would be close to 100 people.

Nearly 100! Wow, goes to show you the size difference between DFW and Austin. We've got about 8-10 regulars, and then there are a couple people who show up now and again. We usually pull around 10-15 at our meetups.
