OctopodiCon 2012

OctopodiCon 2012 is a new convention that will take place in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA, on October 5th - 7th. While it's a Steampunk convention they've expressed a strong interest in Dieselpunk. As a result, my wife and I will be there representing North Texas Dieselpunks by giving panels on Dieselpunk.

Most conventions are run as a labor of love but the hard reality is that they do cost money. I've been involved in new conventions and it's not uncommon for them to create a financial hardship on the organizers.
