Dieselpunk + Steampunk Culture

Some good militaristic/WW2-themed industrial music

Hey everyone, it's been a damn long time since I posted here, but I figured I'd share some music. I'm noticing some great links to good jazzy, swingish and steampunkish music, but only a few posts pointing towards the neo-folk and martial industrial genres. Although not everything in the genres sounds immediately dieselpunk, a lot of the more militaristic or dark cabaret-sounding stuff definitely has a dieselpunkish feel to me, moreso for imagining dystopian or WW2-themed fiction, particularly the more villainous side of things for some of these. Below are some of my favorite examples:

Try the soundtrack to Command and Conquer: Red Alert. The first one. I personally think it's Klepaki's best work. And like the game it just OOZES Dieselpunk Goodness.
I'm a HUGE fan of Frank Klepacki's music, ever since I first heard Hell March when I was in 6th grade. The "Soviet March" theme song from Red Alert 3 is also really majestic... It perfectly taps into the sort of overwhelming martial pomp that the Red Army Choir had. Really impressive stuff.

Other than Triarii, these are all new to me. Martial Industrial is such an obscure genre in my circle that I've never had the chance to stumble into it, so thank you for these great pieces.
If you have any more examples, I've started a YouTube playlist at http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=70D57F4482C6EE9E

This way, you can just hit play and sit back while everything runs in the background.
ah! Capital idea! I'll be sure to add more to that playlist then.

These are all really good. A good dark cabaret artist is Voltaire. His music is really unique and has a happy-darkness for it. Check it out:
