Dieselpunk + Steampunk Culture

I recently had the pleasure of listening to Tape Five's newest album "Tonight Josephine!" released in 2010.

Their style mixes modern up-tempo dance beats and slick production values with classic swing instruments and arrangements, balancing the fine line between "NuSwing" and "Dance" music.  If anything, they sound like a swing-focused version of Caravan Palace with a honeyed lineup of experienced vocalists tempering each track.

If you haven't heard them yet, give them a spin.  You'll be glad you did.

Sounds a lot like the Puppini Sisters.
A little bit, but Tape Five doesn't focus on the tight harmonizing nearly as much.  They're more "Big Bad Voodoo Daddy" remixed as upbeat dance music than anything.
