The ABCs of Dieselpunk

Okay everyone, I'm trying something a little wacky today.

This thread will be an interactive game.

The goal is to design a children's book where we teach the alphabet and dieselpunk at the same time. Starting with the letter A and continuing all the way to Z, post one word that describes a dieselpunk concept you would have loved as a child.

For example: A is for Airplane

The next person should post something that starts with the letter B, and we keep going until we have the whole alphabet covered. If you can find a cool picture that fits your word, that's even better!

Rules:

Each player gets one post per day. This way, everyone has at least 24 hours to ponder the next letter before the last player can post again. Some of us could finish this list within the hour if left to our own devices!
If you have a different idea for a letter, remember it! We'll start over when we hit Z.
Have fun with it!

When we're done, we may have our artists create a children's book or a Gashlycrumb Tiny free to download from Dieselpunks with the results.
