Dieselpunk + Steampunk Culture

"If the people who came to town had wanted Bible readings, we’d have given ’em that. But nobody ever asked for Bible readings. They wanted booze, broads, and gambling, so that’s what we gave ’em."

Hell, sounds like my kind of people. :)

Debauchery and sin... why does it seem far more glamorous back then that it does now? :p

My kind of town, definitely.

That's because they knew how to do it right back then. :)

Atlantic City is practically a living testament of how we lost our "cool" over the decades.  Much like our culture it went from a glamorous high class debauchery into a filthy tired sad cycle of addiction.  We kept the crime and sin and loss, but lost the class and style.

Hey.  It's not that filthy!

Although everything else you said is true.
