Tate Britain is exhibiting works of the so-called Vorticists, the British arm, if you like, of Futurism. The name was coined by Ezra Pound. Above painting is 'Dance' by Helen Saunders, c. 1915. Other artists of Vorticism are amongst others Wyndham Lewis, Edward Wardsworth and Gaudier-Brzeska. The exhibition runs until 4 September 2011.
