I know it's a matter of stereotypes, but the last pair screams Vietnam ;-)
I was thinking more, "I feel the need... the need for speed!" The middle one makes me think of Indiana Jones.
Junior... I have bad news... They got us, son.
Well there not goggles but here's my headphones. They were manufactured in the 20s. And re-wired by me earlier this year after reading the excellent piece by Molly 'Porkshanks' Friedrich on The Steampunk Workshop. I avoided any unnecessary tin snipping. However the original Bakelite covers had deteriorated to much to be of any use. So new covers were fabricated from Italian leather offcuts.

Nice leather work! How do they sound?
Really quite good. They took a bit of getting used to, but once you have them sat on your ears correctly then they are clear as a bell. I formed the leather over the original Bakelite covers whilst still wet, then allowed it to dry.
hmm ok well mine are swiss motorcycle army goggles. they are ridiculously comfortable and small enought to fit even my hobbit sized head.

This postcard (yeah, it looks like postcard to me) is terrific!
Thanks, it's part of a sort of silly adventure shoot we did for our myspace the whole thing is me looking for the mythical golden monkey in a vast and unamed dessert, the rest of it is at

in pics under
Dizzy's adventures. They might actually be fun postcards at that... wheels now turning!
I must admit that the monkey-chasing looks not bad at all!
Pretty cool goggles and overall picture!
Hello all,

First post :)
I just wanted to show off two recently completed pairs. I deliberately stayed away from the weathered, vintage look, having gotten a little weary of it!

This second pair is Hollywood meets dieselpunk (the goggles are actually stark white, the light makes them look pinkish). They're quite sparkly and glamorous under club lighting.
