I really like the red ones. They remind me of Ferrari 1952's metal. Good job!
Finally figured out how to get my 10 year old webcam to work with my new Windows 7 laptop! lol

They look great on you.

very very nice
1943 has us beat, boys. Let's pack it up, call it a day, and come back fresh tomorrow with three new ideas.
My problem with the Mech Grilled goggles is they scream way too much of Cyberpunk nowadays. and are really impractical. I actually wear goggles when working, so being able to see is a must.

Hello all,

First post :)
I just wanted to show off two recently completed pairs. I deliberately stayed away from the weathered, vintage look, having gotten a little weary of it!

This second pair is Hollywood meets dieselpunk (the goggles are actually stark white, the light makes them look pinkish). They're quite sparkly and glamorous under club lighting.

Here's a work in progress of some dieselpunk sunglasses:

Please note the two copper coils near the nose and the pocket watch chain to place in your shirt pocket.

Any suggestions? I was thinking of maybe placing even more copper in the middle in order to make it a continuous coil.
I would continue the coil, and maybe try to change the color of the plastic frame a bit. The style of those sunglasses was very common in the late '70s into the '80s, so it needs a little more love to punk it out.

What colour/texture would you go for?

I'm not entirely sure. The general style is very 1980s, so it would be hard to mask.
Not got a photo, But Mine Are the RAF MkVIII styley ones. But the padding is obstructively thick.

Not so; I sell mesh saftey goggles (real ones, not costume). People use them for chainsawing and the like.
