Red Hot Chili Peppers
My wife and I were watching the 27th annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremony on HBO tonight when the Red Hot Chili Peppers were introduced to be inducted. As they came on stage we couldn't help but notice the Dieselpunk style clothing of the ex-members Jack Irons and Cliff Martinez.

Quite cool. Though I reckon Irons needs a better hat to match that suit as that one seems a little off.

At least they dressed up (and well, at that) for such a prestigious occasion. The others look like they're on their way to Wal-Mart.

I can't help but wonder if they might not be cut from the same cloth as us. Hmmm, might require some research. They might be like so many people, into Dieselpunk and not know it.

I quite like the hat! There's something very personal in that a stylist would have given him a matching hat. In the end aslong as he was comfortable and liked how he looked then I say go for it! :)
