Dieselpunk + Steampunk Culture

Here's an early review of the Captain America game. What's interesting to me is this sentence in this last paragraph:

Are you as excited as I am that we’ll soon be able to beat the hell out of dieselpunk Nazis on the system of our choice?

Suddenly, it seems hat The right people are working in the right stuff? let's hope, it's a trend... no more movies (games), done by people that don't know the comic (The book, The series and so on).

At least i would hope it's a trend...
I almost forgot about this.
I'll absolutely have to pick it up sometime.
The only reason I'm wary is that there is always that stigma of movie-based games really sucking.

The video game for The Warriors is great. Other than that, you're pretty much right.

As far as Captain America goes though... I haven't played it myself, but IGN didn't like it too much, unfortunately. Here it is (plus video review found in the written one): http://au.xbox360.ign.com/articles/118/1181923p1.html

I take IGN at face value. It's only one or two reviewers per game giving an opinion. Most of them hated Dante's Inferno or Hellboy:SOE. I gave Rogers a go for Nazi smashing. It's a typical brawler, but the story alone makes it worth at least a rental.
