I say surprise us.  I hate knowing things too far in advance.

Of course, you can always give us a hint.  ;)

Using the FATE system as a guideline, every location we have listed will have at least one pre-made NPC to interact with (the "face" of the location) who will be categorized as "thematic" or "threat."  Threats will be NPC movers and shakers who are actively working against Titan physically, politically, or spiritually.  Themes will be NPCs who embody their locations, like the head bouncer at Calloway's Dance Hall.

These NPCs will be part of a web of commingled storylines I have been cooking up so everyone has something (or someone) to run with.

I even have a new playlist with a theme song for each location that you'll be able to listen to while plotting your devious ideas.

I like to thing of RPGs as rose gardens.  They'll grow by themselves and sometimes you'll get a nice bud or two, but it's best to give it a good support structure to climb on if you want it to be a prize winner.

In case anyone has yet to see it, Clinton did a badass piece of Titan fan art:

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Please forgive the leave of absence I took from Titan over the Halloween season.

During my time off, I attempted to find extra people to help run the RPG.  The answer was a resounding "no."

Being the human analog of a MMORPG server is a daunting task, one I wish the original staff member who started Titan would have been good enough to follow through on.  Unfortunately, he and his helper ditched the site shortly after we started the game.

I thought I would be able to balance my normal Dieselpunks-related duties along with the added work needed to keep Titan alive, but something had to give.  There simply aren't enough hours in the day to run the rest of the website, work a fulltime job, then work freelance jobs in place of sleep to keep a roof over my family this winter.

If Dieselpunks was a money-making website, I would reconsider, but we operate at a loss every month.  Patti Smith's recent contribution to our hosting fund has helped greatly, but we're still not where we need to be.

With this said, I need to retire from Titan until time and funds dictate that I can run it properly and with the attention it deserves.  I will keep the group open, so you are all welcome to continue playing Titan in my absence.

If anyone has any questions or suggestions, please feel free to speak up.  My door will always be open.

I just found this  and it looks fun! I hope I did it correctly though....if not Tome can just slap me around a bit. It's good to be the Mod.

OK so I created a character so how do you start?

Hi BlackAdam, unfortunately Titan is on hold until we can find more volunteers willing to act as the storyteller. See my post above from November for more details.

I don't want to confuse anyone, but Blizzard Entertainment, makers of World of Warcraft, Starcraft, and countless other video game gems has a MMORPG named Titan in the works.

There's been no news on what their Titan game is about, but I found it amusing to see the headline of "Blizzard seeking to bring MMORPG Titan to the masses" pop up on my newsfeed.

I am so sorry for my extended and unannounced absence. it started with a new job, computer troubles a failing relationship etc. i feel an ass for not taking or having time to explain sooner and i must confess its taken me a while to muster courage enough to come back now. i loved the story we were working on and it looks like i killed it i hope it may still be salvageable. i am truly sorry and i hope you can understand and forgive me. :(

is this game running now or is it on standby

It's on hiatus until we get some storytellers on board.

Ready whenever anybody else is, boss.  I got Dennis's return message a little late (Don't really check my inbox here) but I'm still around.
