Dieselpunk + Steampunk Culture
Hi Dr. Carmilla,
Can you give us a little background info on your new tune? What was the inspiration for it and how does it fit into your view of dieselpunk?
First of my music tracks now up on Reverb Nation. The next number is more folk/surf/jazz/enka influenced too. Would really love to be added to the playlist, if you guys are still interested (especially as it's dieselpunk cabaret)!

Sorry Wes! Yesterday's comment is in reference to an October comment you made, I think in reference to one of mine. I'm still new to the site and learning how to post
To Wes Mortega: I'm feeling ya dude. I lost my job as a community organizer to a supposed fellow progressive who wanted a little too much control. I am currently an environmental educator but only seasonally employed (that means no benefits and, by the way I have been rejected repeatedly by health insurance companies). My wife has been unemployed for more than two years. My point that even having worked in the hood, seen all sorts of corruption violence and despair, there is a point where you gotta embrace the positive in life where you find it. That's how people survived the 30's and 40's. In many ways the 21st Century is a cakewalk in comparison to what they went through. As Emma Goodman said "If I can't dance I don't want to be part of your revolution!!!".
