With wheels it can race down the airstrip while conducting air defense until the birds scramble. Practical.

Thanks! Pretty much. When they're on a road or flat ground they can keep up with faster vehicles.

Very cool. However, why the wheels? Was that to allow for moving faster down when speed was needed. The legs to walk over rough terrain?
