A few period watches for your enjoyment..

Hi All..New here, so I thought I;d share a few pieces from my collection (my real passion is collecting and restoring vintage watches, been doing that for a good 12years). Most of these were flea shop finds or given to me by friends, and most were in worse shape than in the pics, needing at least a servicing, and lots of TLC. A few were candidates for a dial refinish.1950 Hamilton 992b railroad pocket watch - this was one of my work watches during my 35 year stint with Canadian Pacific.Longines…See More

Well met all.. I joined over here, directed by a post at Brass Goggles. A discussion there on the creation of a dieselpunk sub-board, got me interested, and I wandered over to see what the fuss was about..Oddly enough, this got me thinking that there is (from my point of view as a retired railroader with 36 years in service) that there is a lot of potential for overlap and cross pollination between Steampunk and Dieselpunk..
