I've been meaning to watch it. Maybe I'll catch up on the eps online here soon. I was a rapid Battlestar fan.

Funny that you mentioned this show. It's been on all day. They're running a marathon.

And yes it is on SyFy. The next episodes look to be very good and have a lot of Diesel.

CAPRICA

Well one of my favorate TV shows has taken a turn for the wierd (Matrix/Cyberpunk style) when one of the main charactors finds herself in an undoubtedly DieselPunk video game from which there is no way home.  Airships with P-40 parisite fighters, 1940s clothing, cool stuff mainard.

Think about the Flying Tigers, aeroplane mercenaries in (for that time) state of the art fighters. If anything they lived a more exciting life than most fictional heroes.

Once again we see exactly eye to eye on this, the period 1910 to 1949 took us from horseless carriages to Atom bombs, do we need (additional) Sci-Fi ? For example if you look at the little rocket fighters like the Me-163B it was faster, longer…

Brother thou art preaching to the choir. There are a hundred times more things that are SteamPunk than are DieselPunk but even in that broad category there are people who will argue over what is and is not SP. Just shoot them in the head with a nerf…

Right now I am making some Sci-Fi Costumes and they are coming out with a distinctly DieselPunk look, whether or not that is because I'm overdosing on all things DieselPunk or that Retro-Futurism of that era is still better than what we imagine…

Just my opinion, Mad Max belongs in the Post Apocalyptic catagory Here is why: 1. MM has a history totally off the Steampunk to Cyberpunk time line and would never converge with it. 2. DP is industrial and requires a world wide civilization, if…

But if you stick Mad Max in the middle there is no Cyberpunk, no Star Trek future either. I like the style of Post Apocaliptic it just does not lead anywhere. Sorry I can not say it any plainer, it just can't be Dieselpunk, which is…

Mad Max, Tank Girl, love them! I just don't see them in the Dieselpunk Universe the two are not related. For example what hapens after Steampunk? Dieselpunk, after that, Cyberpunk. It follows logically, it flows. Nowhere in there is a place…

I thought DieselPunk was alternate 1900-1950s?
