Steampunk has lots of fiction to read. It did start as a literary movement after all, that morphed into a DIY subculture. As I mentioned in another thread, I understand that the current accepted "traditional" Dieselpunk time frame is the period between the World Wars, and I agree that most of the essence of the scene is derived from that time.
