Dieselpunk + Steampunk Culture

I just found this 1937 Bentley online and thought I just had to share it.

(Note: I may be wrong but I believe this is a 1938 model)

The odd thing Lord_k is that I kept finding conflicting dates. So it is 1947 then as one site said. Thanks for clarifying this beauty for us.

To Tome: there was a 1946 Saoutchik-bodied Caddy roughly in this style. Hope to show it here some day.

I love the chrome detail on the skirt. It has an edge to it that you don't normally see on streamline cars, but is still essentially Deco. Great photos, Larry!

The fender skirt design makes the car appear to be floating a little off the ground, like a hovercraft. Very striking!

It's 1947 Mark VI, body by Franay. Here it is.
