About Airship Babylon and 4ZzZ
ABOUT AIRSHIP BABYLON:
Airship Babylon will be the first broadcast radio show in Australia to exclusively cover steampunk, noirpunk, punk-cabaret, dieselpunk, gaslamp, gypsy-punk and related music & news.
From the first of February 2010 Airship Babylon will air LIVE every Monday night/Tuesday morning from Midnight til 2am (Australian Eastern Standard Time) and is based in Brisbane, Australia. Tune in locally on 102.1fm or stream online at http://stream.4zzzfm.org.au. Our FM signal can be received across Brisbane and out to parts of the Gold and Sunshine Coasts and Toowoomba.
MUSIC SUBMISSIONS:
I am happy to consider your music for airplay if it fits within the show's scope. Airship Babylon is not a punk or goth show, however I will occasionally cover those styles if relevant to the steampunk scene. If you're not sure, listen to the show and send a query by email.
Be a dear and include a press kit with all music submissions.

ABOUT THE STATION: 4ZZZ is Brisbane's best independent radio station, blasting fresh local and underground music through your radio. We represent all styles of sound, most of which are ignored by mainstream media outlets. Unlike most other radio stations, our announcers don't adhere to playlists - this means they play what they want to, when they want to.
Although we don't have to pay large commercial licensing fees or large salary bills, we still incur all the running costs of any radio station: commercial or community. All our fundraising is done independently and we are fiercely proud of this independence.
The Programming structure of 4ZZZ can be divided two ways; "strip" and "block" shows. Strip shifts are your basic music shift, where a wide variety of music and information is broadcast. Block shifts cater for a specific group of listeners; playing music (and broadcasting information) of a certain stylistic range.
**SUBSCRIBING TO 4ZZZ:
The stations main source of income is generated from subscribers. As well as helping us stay on the air you get many great benefits (especially if you subscribe as a band / solo artist / DJ / business) plus discounts at Subscriber outlets around Brisbane.
