Some propaganda today. Let us begin with a 1943 poster looking like a sci-fi magazine centerfold:
The artist is Pat Keely. By the way, the wartime propaganda and advertising in the US and Canada often borrowed themes from science fiction - to show "the future we are fighting for" (three examples can be seen here). But the British were different from their allies - they preferred to show familiar scenery appealing to everyone: "this is our country and our way life we have to defend at any cost":
On the other hand, if I didn't already know the next poster's origin I could think it's a new brainchild of our good Stefan:
Just for the balance - two well-known-classics:
Another two - from Abram Games, sometimes called "Britain's official war artist":

And some other propaganda masterpieces and artifacts:
(Patrick Keely, Light Safety Poster, 1940)
(Reginald Mount, 1941. The inscription reads: "From the British people. For the Victory! We are together". The poster belongs to British Artists series distributed in the USSR. And the gift is indeed a Hawker Hurricane fighter)
