Some more examples of Canadian war propaganda brought to us by Mr. Malon in his fabulous photostream:
We already ran two batches of Canadian war art - Posters and Art & Ads. As Larry said on one of the previous occasions, "... the quality of the art <...> was better in these than some others of the time. Also, several are quite creative in their presentation of the message. " Hope today's set won't ruin this impression.

Comment by Tome Wilson on January 23, 2012 at 9:15pm I'm looking at the first poster, but I don't remember there being that many Canadian cowboys in the war.

and more to it: some of the posters are looking distinctively British, and French inscriptions turn them into something almost alternative - I mean, an artifact from an alternate universe.
These are absolutely gorgeous, Lord K. Thank you so much for sharing them. To us, French, the slight language differences in these images give them a special charm that makes them unmistakably a production from our Canadian cousins. For example, in the Don't Let Touch 'Em! poster, French would say "Qu'ils ne les touchent pas !" while Canadians say "Qu'ils ne leur touchent pas !"
