Dieselpunk + Steampunk Culture

Chris Riffel, a Fallout 3 fan from Regina, Saskatchewan, his graphics arts teacher and several other students and staff from his high school helped him construct a loving tribute to one of our favorite post apocalyptic dieselpunk games.

I'd like to see video of someone actually riding it!

That's just a beast!!

Yea, and with no mud guards on either tire I'd advise wearing something you don't mind getting covered with said slop when you do! ;-)

I came to the same conclusions as you, and it almost looks like a dressed up mini-bike when you break it down to it's component.

Ok...just based on these 3 pics...(which is all I can find...gggrrrrrr)
It seems to be either un-geared or a constant variable drive transmission.
Also single rear brake, and it is chain drive, with a nice tensioner(roller skate wheel?).
Suspension consist of the pneumatic tires and that is all...although it has what appears to be a sprung tractor saddle.
Powerplant looks like either a generator or a pump motor, and exhaust looks like either NPT Black gas pipe or galvanized pipe( I would lean towards NPT Black).
I can see how most of the frame is built...and this thing is HEAVY!
I would guess no more than maybe 20 MPH going downhill....but it would chug and grunt thru all but the worst slop.
Might not do so good at inclines...as the frame looks to be a rigid unibody.

Damn it, I need build notes or more pics.
And to clear out space in the garage.
Hell of a nice job....

Looks very post-apocalyptic! The only bikes in-game are usually just remnants of the atompunk civilization before the big bada boom, so its nice to see a fresh new concept!
