Noted on IO9 yesterday, Phillip K. Dick (PKD), the author of some very impressive novels (which have been made into some terrible movies, such as A Scanner Darkly), will have his classic of post World War 2 alternate history, the Man in the High Castle, made into a mini-series. Before the groaning starts (which is quite understandable after "Paycheck"), it will be made by the BBC and directed by Ridley Scott (Aliens, the upcoming Forever War, and the best remake of a PKD movie, Blade Runner). Quite a relief as opposed to someone of the likes of SyFy getting their hands on this script.
