Miskatonic Monday - Lovecraft pulls a Curwen at the Olympics

Lights out, everybody.

On Miskatonic Mondays, we celebrate the "weird" fiction of HP Lovecraft and the genre of otherworldly horror it spawned.

I've been watching the Olympics, and I noticed a certain American of abnormal ability.

He's very comfortable in the water... and some would dare say he swims like a fish-man.

Upon closer inspection, he's definitely not from Innsmouth, but he does bare a striking resemblance to someone we all know.

But we all know HP Lovecraft was a willowy and malnourished man in his time.  If he just kept his head down and stuck to New England, I don't think his secret would have ever garnered suspicion, but it looks like little Howey might have become a little too bold in his years.

Do you doubt my proof?

Read this "work of fiction" and then we can talk.

Ha ha!  Another "separated at birth" phenomenon.

If he lives in a Victorian mansion, I'm not calling at tea time!
