Dieselpunks

Dieselpunk + Steampunk Culture

I usually don't post anything on Dieselpunks besides my monthly vintage music link, but this man, starting in the 1940's, molded much of what we think of as the modern world— and he was so shy (maybe even reclusive) that I'd never even heard of him before, even though I had an uncle who worked at Bell Labs during the same era.

Great article, thank you, Pilsner!  Anyone who's ever used a rotary dial phone can really appreciate what Mr. Karlin did for us.
