Dieselpunk + Steampunk Culture

When I look back at the Jazz Age, I see a time of unfettered dreams;
dreams where people could build something much greater than themselves.
But the dreamer awakened.

Still, in the daylight hours,
the dreamers looked beyond today and saw a future;
A future where humanity could thrive and where hope was everlasting.

I see dieselpunk as a return to those dreams and that future.
We have a chance to cut the chains of intolerance and ignorance that held us back before;
A chance to use our skills and our technology to build a future
instead of simply waiting for one.

I built this website as a gift to the world,
And as inspiration for like-minded people who can see beyond today into a future that has yet to be built.
Let us look back at the grand ideas that were set aside due to war and poverty
and let us use what we know today to make those ideas even better.

Never be content.
Never rest on anyone else’s work.
If it is truly important to you, then you will want your heart’s blood pumping through the dream as well.

The future has not yet arrived,
And you still have time to make it your own.
