Pilsner's Picks has a very checkered history. It started out as a feature page on someone else's website, but he and I had a disagreement and I decided to spin it off on its own. Since then, I've switched web hosts a few times for technical reasons, redesigned the page a few times also, and now I think it's exactly what I want it to be.

As for how long I've been providing the monthly link on Dieselpunks, I haven't kept track, but it's been about two years, I think. I came across the site almost by accident, and it struck me that here was an ideal audience!

Getting back to the access problem reported by Tome, it seems to have been temporary, as the number of downloads is now at about the normal level for this time of the month— so to anyone else who couldn't connect to 4Shared, please try it again.

Tome, that's definitely the right URL. I just looked at 4Shared and the new tracks are being downloaded, so they might have been having a temporary system problem. And, you're welcome... nearly eleven years of Pilsner's Picks and I still haven't run out of music yet!

The 4shared link just keeps saying LOADING.  I gave it about 15 minutes, but it never timed out.  Is that the right URL?
