Tad Dorgan, the Father of All Slang!

Hey, Dumbell.  Wanna be the Cat's Meow?  A Hard-Boiled guy, not some Drugstore Cowboy? 

Well, For Crying Out Loud, all ya' gotta do to get the latest scoop on the latest language and avoid commin' across like a total hick is to check out the work of Tad Dorgan, the endless fountain of humor pictured to yer right.  This guy's been Busier than a One Armed Paper Hanger crankin' out funny papers with a language all their own, and his word salad has been going like gangbusters.

And if I've italicized the phrase, you can betcha Tad was the guy who probably created it, or at least the one who popularized it!

No Malarchy! His cartoons can be seen in papers like the New York Journel, and they're the Cat's Pajamas, let me tell you.  Here's a guy with a whole set!
