From Diesel City Noir, again : what would be a film in that genre without a shady club complete with its torch singer, cigarettes girl, jazz band and, of course, guns, guns, guns ?

I agree with Pilsner. It really does capture the era. Reminds me of the Cotton Club with the African-American band. And look on the waitress face pulling out the gun if priceless.

This really captures the period, Stefan. The year? 1940. The place? 52nd Street, Manhattan. The time? Three in the morning.

What happens after the club closes? Trouble!
