Sweet! Thanks for the link.  My first exposure to Chandler was when I saw The Brasher Doubloon one evening on American Movie Classics when I was about 16. That film left me wanting more, so I rented The Big Sleep on VHS.  The next summer break from school, I bought Chandler's novel The Lady in the Lake. That book kept me enthralled every evening after everyone else went to bed, for the majority of the summer.

I've been a fan ever since.
