Amazing Stefan! The textures and shading are just beautiful! I love the scope of it - I know this word gets thrown around a lot, but it feels so 'epic' :-)

Both the inside and the outside of the Obedience Building remind me of a very brutal all-boys religious prep school that I attended for two years before I was finally able to escape. Not that I want to be reminded of it, but the nightmarish atmosphere here is just right!

I love it. I agree with Tome about the realism. Totalitarian systems love to create giant spaces and images that make the person feel small in comparison.

Of course, I was also reminded of the lyrics to War by Edwin Starr:

War, huh, good God
What is it good for
Absolutely nothing
Listen to me

Not only it perfectly makes sense, but this is a great compliment, one of the nicest I've been made. Thank you very much, Anson. More importantly, what you said is exactly how I feel about the whole thing and what I try to convey in my pictures, too. As I'm sure you know, when you make, design, conceive... something, anything, you can't get any better reward for it than the realization it is understood at the other end(s).

Thank you very much, everybody, for your continued interest and feedbackt.

Brilliant as always. I think the mark of a true master is thus: when you look at their art, it feels more like they've discovered something that was always there, than if they'd created something. I always get that feeling when looking at your stuff, Stefan. It's like there's a whole other parallel world out there only you have access to or something. If that makes any sense, lol.

Love this picture makes me think of Capitan A.

I really like this one, because I can see it happening in real life.

Great sense of scale, as always.
