Hello Larry, thank you for the welcome. Is there a page for SCW posts? If not I could start one I suppose!

All the best

Thanks Larry. I am new to the concept. Inspired by Call of Cthulhu and The Whisperer in Darkness films plus the internet radio station Radio Real Dieselpunk from England.

Thank you :). It is in fact Stefan who showed me this website. I'm currently working with him on a film project!

Hi Larry - your Dieselpunk Primer was very well done -- at one point, I thought there might be a "Gearpunk" genre (like "gearhead" - automobile nut) -- but that seems to be just for gears in watches, etc.  Now I know all about Dieselpunk and it seems to mesh with a lot of my interests, not just gears.  I will start exploring this site!

Lol. I found your blog first, which led me here. And immediately found the encyclopedia. It was some of the artwork on the encyclopedia that got me to connect Star Wars and Dieselpunk.

In reading an article about the origin of the term, I see that my own work and obsession into this genres started 2 full years before the term was created.

I knew back then that I was way ahead of the curve. :)

Thanks for the welcome! I have been obsessed with Dieselpunk/Decopunk for years, but never knew it had a name. I can't begin to tell you how excited I am to discover a COMMUNITY!

Now I've been producing swing era (for lack of a better description until today) variety shows since 1999. I really would love to introduce my stage work to the community.

you have a drawing by George Ham on top of a red and gray 1937 Figoni Delahaye. Do you  know anything about this drawing-can it be purchased
